52 Faces Project

A sketch in my Moleskine daily planner of someone who inspires me, once a week, every week, in 2016.

This project was inspired by this first sketch in my 2015 Moleskine Planner of the world’s oldest woman.  I loved the feeling of drawing a person on the dated page it was actually done and the familiar quality of the paper used in Moleskine’s planners. It is great practice with portraits and so very cool to see improvement (hopefully!).

Enjoy, and may you be inspired.

I use Micron ink and watercolor. If I want it more brilliant, I go over that with colored pencil.
